New Company Name and Expanded New York Office for Monarch
Part of company's effort to reach broader audience for CAD

Glendale, NY - "While many apparel and textile industry people know us as 'Monarch Computex,' we're also trying to push CAD technology beyond the traditional borders," says Eric Rosenberg, Marketing Manager, referring to Monarch's announcement that the company will officially go by the name Monarch Design Systems. "We feel that 'Monarch Design Systems' better communicates our identity and products, not only to the small and independent design houses we're trying to attract, but to our traditional customers, as well." The name change will take effect immediately. "Our new off-the-shelf CAD software will be the first beneficiary of this change," adds Mr. Rosenberg.

Monarch also announced the relocation of its New York City offices to 688 Sixth Avenue (at the corner of W. 22nd St.), Suite 200, in the heart of the growing apparel industry presence in the Chelsea district of Manhattan. The move, effective June 15, provides Monarch expanded sales, demonstration and training facilities, as well as an expanded marketing presence. "The new offices will enable us to better serve our existing and potential customers, making training and demonstrations more accessible," says Mr. Rosenberg. "It will also provide a New York City base to pursue expanded marketing relations with key hardware and software vendors and resellers." Monarch's New York City telephone number will remain the same - 212-627-2394.
