Monarch Design Systems and Drexel University Form Educational Alliance
Coincides with introduction of two new Monarch School classes

Glendale, NY - Monarch Design Systems and Drexel University have formed a partnership to offer the popular Monarch School classes at Drexel's Philadelphia campus. The curriculum will include classes on usage of popular "off-the-shelf" software, such as Adobe Photoshop©, Adobe Illustrator©, and Fractal Painter© for textile and fashion design. The alliance also coincides with the kickoff of two new Monarch School offerings - Introduction to Woven Fabrics, and Introduction to Knit Fabrics.

"At Drexel we strive to give our students real-life experiences," said Gary Ferris, Director of Professional Studies at Drexel. "This has become a hallmark of the University. The Monarch School at Drexel advances that philosophy, and adds another valuable component to our textile design course offerings."

David Matsil, Managing Director for Monarch, said, "It is gratifying that a premiere design institution like Drexel shares our vision. We are very excited to bring the Monarch School to the Philadelphia area." Mr. Ferris is equally enthusiastic about the alliance, adding, "We are delighted to be affiliated with a company of Monarch's stature, and look forward to further developing Monarch School course offerings at Drexel University."
