Monarch School offers hands-on training by highly qualified instructors in how to maximize use of popular "off-the-shelf" graphics software for textile and fashion design. The classes are held at MPC Training Center in NYC. Titled "Introduction to Painter for Fashion Design," the class will lead students through the process of drawing and sketching a fashion illustration. Students will learn how Painter can be used to develop images that look as though they were rendered traditionally. Custom brushes, custom colors, different media, building brush variants and other specific Painter tools will be addressed. "We are very excited that Monarch has taken the initiative to form this class," says Daryl Wise, spokesman for Fractal. "There are many classes on Painter available, but this is the first one which focuses on this specific and very significant design application." Those interested in registering should call MPC @ 212-463-8585, x515. Those registering for more than one class at the same time will receive a total discount of $50. More detailed class descriptions are available from Monarch @ 718-894-8520. |
