![]() November 4, 1998 Monarch Design Systems Adds Apparel Sales Specialist Glendale, NY - Monarch Design Systems is pleased to announce that Ms. Sheryl Leventhal has joined the company as an Apparel Systems Consultant. Sheryls depth of experience in the apparel industry and enthusiasm for CAD technology made her a natural fit for our company, says David Matsil, Managing Director of Monarch. At Monarch, Ms. Leventhal will concentrate her efforts on sales of CAD systems and software to companies designing apparel. Monarchs Pointcarré design software, Punto embroidery software, and Monarchive image database software are particularly strong in their application to the apparel industry. Sheryl knows the apparel business, Mr. Matsil said.Her knowledge of the entire product cycle, from development to merchandising will enable her to convey the benefits of CAD technology to apparel customers, and in their language. Ms. Leventhal was most recently an Account Executive with Alpha-Sylray Corp. in New York City, where she managed the JCPenney account for domestic and imported ladies lingerie. In addition to sales, Ms. Leventhal was involved in merchandising and design, production, shipping, inventory analysis and customer service. Ms. Leventhals sales experience also includes positions with apparel companies Gennera/Z.A.P. Ltd., Abtron NY, Inc., and Cherokee Mens and Boys Apparel. Ms. Leventhal earned a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. |
