Textiles Expert Joins Monarch Design Systems’ Sales Team

Glendale, NY - Monarch Design Systems is pleased to announce that Mr. Andy Fox has joined the company as a Textile Systems Consultant.

“Andy brings a wealth of textile industry experience to Monarch, not only in sales, but in the development, production, and marketing areas as well,” says David Matsil, Managing Director. At Monarch, Mr. Fox will concentrate his efforts on sales of CAD systems and software to mills, converters, and other companies involved in fabric design and production. Monarch’s Pointcarré software is particularly strong in its application to the wovens industry. “Andy’s knowledge will enable him to easily convey the benefits of CAD technology to these types of customers, as well as its implementation in their everyday workflow,” adds Mr. Matsil.

Mr. Fox was employed for the past ten years with Doran Textiles, Inc. in New York City, where he rose from an administrative position in the company’s contract department to Director of Contract and Industrial Fabrics. In this position, Mr. Fox generated and directed annual sales of up to $25 million of greige and finished products.

Mr. Fox earned a B.A. degree from Hartwick College, and completed the Executive Education Program at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC.
