Monarch’s 2nd Annual Independent Designer Open House -
Adobe Systems, Inc. and Apple Computer to participate

Glendale, NY - Monarch Design Systems will showcase modular CAD solutions and leasing alternatives for small design studios and independent designers in an Open House event on Monday, May 18th, 5:30 - 8:30PM. The event will take place at the Apple Market Center, The Citicorp Building, 153. E. 53rd St., 29th Floor, New York City. Adobe Systems, Inc. and Apple Computer will also participate in the evening’s events.

“Last year’s great turnout showed that this event had struck a chord in the design community. To demonstrate our on-going commitment to independent designers, we decided to make this an annual event,” says Eric Rosenberg, Marketing Manager.“This event will also mark the introduction of ColorExchange™, the latest addition to our family of affordable off-the-shelf software.” ColorExchange enables designers to easily and instantly create colorways ? multiple color combinations of graphic patterns ? within Adobe Photoshop®.

The evening’s agenda will include:

  • Demonstrations of the new Pointcarré™ 5.0 and other powerful textile and fashion design software
  • Demonstrations of Monarch’s off-the-shelf software; ColorExchange, and Plaids & Stripes for Windows® and Macintosh, including a sneak preview of the new Structure Editor software for Windows
  • Demonstrations by Adobe representatives of Photoshop 5.0, the brand new version
  • Demonstrations of advances in color matching, utilizing Apple’s ColorSync® technology
  • An overview of Monarch School classes
  • Socializing, networking and refreshments
